What to expect at Sync Hyperbaric

A prescribed HBOT series is a straightforward, physician-directed process. Here's what your visits look like — from the first evaluation through each session in the chamber.

Your path to treatment.

  1. Step 01

    Consult

Submit a consult request or call our office. If a physician has already ordered HBOT for you, we'll coordinate with their office directly.

  2. Step 02

    Physician evaluation

Before any treatment, a physician reviews your health history, screens for contraindications, and confirms whether HBOT is appropriate for you. You'll receive a treatment order specifying your session count and schedule.

  3. Step 03

    Your session

You'll change into 100% cotton garments we provide, complete a brief safety check, and settle into the chamber. Sessions typically last about 60 to 90 minutes depending on your protocol. The chamber is transparent, staff are present throughout, and you can rest, or simply relax. You may feel pressure in your ears as the chamber pressurizes — similar to an airplane descent — and our staff will guide you through equalizing techniques.

  4. Step 04

    Your series

Most physician-ordered treatment plans involve a series of sessions on a regular schedule. With three chambers — including a two-person chamber — we build your series around consistent, convenient times and coordinate any adjustments with your ordering physician.

Before you arrive.

Please arrive 15 minutes early for your first session. For safety, nothing flammable or battery-powered enters the chamber: no phones, electronics, jewelry, or personal items, and no petroleum-based lotions, oils, perfumes, or most cosmetics on treatment days. We provide approved garments. Our team reviews the complete safety checklist with you before your first session and at every visit.
