Sync is accredited by the American Association for Accreditation of Ambulatory Surgery Facilities — AAAASF, now known as Quad A — one of the accrediting organizations recognized by CMS for surgical facilities. It's an accreditation with deep roots in surgical and plastic-surgery facility standards, built around the American College of Surgeons' principles for optimal surgical care.

What sets it apart is the bar. Quad A accreditation requires 100% compliance with its standards — not most of them, all of them — re-surveyed on a three-year cycle with peer review in between. And it holds the people, not just the building, to a standard: every surgeon who operates in a Quad A–accredited facility must be board-certified or board-eligible in an ABMS specialty, and may only perform procedures for which they hold privileges at an accredited hospital. The accreditation that protects your patients also vouches for the caliber of every other surgeon working in these rooms.

Sync is a private, non-Medicare facility by design — built around direct-pay and out-of-network care rather than government reimbursement. That's a deliberate choice: it keeps the focus on the standard of care and the experience, not on the volume and constraints that come with third-party payers.

A safe outpatient center is built on systems, not slogans:

• Infection control — rigorous sterile processing, environmental cleaning between every case, and surveillance that's tracked, not assumed.
• Emergency preparedness — protocols, equipment, and trained staff for the rare event, plus backup power so a critical system never depends on the grid.
• A hospital transfer agreement — a defined, pre-arranged pathway to a nearby hospital if a case ever needs a higher level of care.
• Appropriate case and patient selection — clear criteria for what belongs in an outpatient setting, so the right cases are here and the wrong ones aren't.

The same instinct that makes our turnover measurable makes our quality measurable. Outcomes, infection rates, transfers, and other quality indicators are tracked and reviewed — not filed away. A center confident in its numbers is willing to talk about them, and we are.
